Stan DeWitt & Nathan Conn bring the "high & lonesome" sound to their original songs, that calls to mind Lyle Lovett, John Hiatt and Johnny Cash. Originally from Michigan, Nathan Conn has worked in the background in many bands across the US, and has only recently found his voice as a songwriter. His songs are ironic detached observations on love and loss, with a voice that is reminiscent of Chris Isaak. Stan DeWitt has performed throughout the United States, both as a member of the Woodbys (a folk group that released two acclaimed albums in the 1990's and toured the country), and as a solo artist. His four solo albums feature songs of unique musical structure and Repertoire is an odd thing here - probably best thing is to say that Stan's music can be heard at www.myspace.com/standewitt.
